Trout fishing remained pretty good these past few days, for most guests. The weather actually wasn’t as bad as forecasted, with the rains mostly coming at night, or later in the day, guests fished all the days. The trout have moved very shallow, if you don’t mind fishing around the sparse weeds, weed openings or against the banks, you will get into trout!
For flies, fish scud patterns, various leach patterns, don’t feed afraid to try some blobs or boobies as well. Spin fishermen, worms under a float has been very effective. Tosssing small spinners, will work as well.
Trolling is a bit tougher, as you have to get in closer to the weed edges, but if you can troll close and shallow, you will get into them as well..
