Ice thickness is between 9 and 10 inches with a foot of snow on the ice creating a few slushy spots. We have had just a few folks fishing recently who caught fish to 16 inches although larger ones we seen swimming by. Fishing this morning a guest did ok with larger fish bumping their bait with the side of their heads hesitant to get tricked. Ice thickness should increase with a short very cold spell on the 26th and 27th with still temps down to the -20’s until then and after the brief cold snap.
