Fall has arrived in the past 24hrs, daytime highs in the high teens and low 20’s and overnight temps in the single digits most night this upcoming week. Surface water temps yesterday were 66 Deg. Fish are being caught with wedding bands, Kwikfish, Hotshots trolled or a worm under a float drifting or while anchored. Late season chironomid hatches have returned with fish back in deeper water feeding, weed bed edges and drop-offs have also produced fish. As the water cools fish will get more active to fatten up before ice on mid November feeding in shallower water making September a great time to fish.
