Fishing has slowed down a bit, fish to 19 inches were caught during the week on dew worms, shrimp and krill. A few reports of larger fish getting broken off by line snaps trying to get them out of the hole and hook snaps setting the hook after a bit. Ice is 13-14 inches thick with the last of the slush/snowpack from the last snowfall freezing to the main ice. Easy walking conditions with an inch of snow on top, no wet areas. A bit more snow is forecast the next few days by no enough to bring back the slushy condition we had a couple weeks ago. Ice rink is in good shape. Cooler temps in the forecast so no melting of snow is expected.
