Turned out to be an incredible weekend up here at Tunkwa, once guests got through the traffic hold ups coming up the Coq hi-way.

It ended up being beautiful up here, sunny and temps above freezing during the day. Mixed fishing reports coming in, but most hooked up, and some, very well on the Tunkwa trout.

Fishing shallow in the mornings was best, then over the main lake basin, mid day produced trout. Worms or shrimp were the best baits to try.

Ice thickness is now well over 20″ now, sure a lot of work to drill through! Looks like we will be having a long Hardwater fishing season this year!
