2025 Fishing Reports

Jan. 12,25

Ice is 10 inches thick, there is some water/slush on the main ice. Temperatures have been mild so far the year with days hovering around 0 and nights from -3 to -10. Coldest night so far this year has been -17. Very unusual but may signal an early ice off if the rest of January and February remains warmer than typical. There’s around 8-10 inches of snow around the resort and the land at same elevation. More snow in the hills. The lake has 5-6 inches of snow on it. Fishing has been slow for most with a few guests picking up fish last weekend. Leighton fished ok yesterday but Tunkwa was slow. Ice rink is in great shape.
