Yesterday we finally started to see larger chironomids up to #12 come off, dark green bodies along with light brown and watery olives. Couple local fishers saw bomber size (#10) flying by. Fished the deeper waters of the lake the last 2 days and fish were scattered from sonar reads. Anchoring and setting up when multiple fish are seen produced some very nice fish to 4lbs fished just off the bottom with bloodworm patterns and various other emerging patterns started to work finally. Damsels are coming off heavily and caddis are still coming off.
