Fishing continues to be very spotty with not much change from the last report with only very small chironomids coming off now. Fish have been seen on sonar more the past couple days throughout the water column. Trollers using Hot Shots and Kwick Fish have been picking up a few in deeper water 8-10 feet down. Larger scuds have picked up fish over tall weed beds, black leeches and limeys worked. Throat samples show very small chironomids and small scuds. Wind had picked the last few days providing water to circulate the lake, surface temps dropped as the cooler water below is forced to mix with the warmer surface water. With the warmer temps at the bottom we hope this will trigger some better hatches and get the fish out of the weeds to feed on chironomids.
