Cool unsettled weather with some flurries and showers last week and through the weekend made for some damp fishing. Chironomid fishing has moved and picked up considerably from reports from guests to deeper water with some guests doing quite well a couple feet off the bottom using various patterns from coppertops to chromies, greens, zucchini’s, blu gunu. Leeches have also been working in the weeds or shallower water. Water temps have been steady at 47-48. Gang troll’s with wedding band with a small piece of worm produced fish along with quick fish and Hotshots. The sun came out over the weekend which was nice and possibly triggering chironomid hatches.
