Weather has been just unreal up this way the past while. Temperatures have been waaaaaay above normal, with even our nights staying way above freezing??? We should be seeing night time temps dipping to the double digits, negative!
Hunting has been slow, with very few deer moving. The couple of 4pt mulies taken this week, were following does, but the does were not receptive. The deer in town are definitley interested in the does,swollen necks and focused but the does are not ready yet. Fresh rubs from whitetails are very evident when in the right areas.
Since the last repott we’ve had guests harvest 5x mule deer does(LEH) and 2 x 4pt mulie bucks.
