Water temps have been below 50F for a few weeks now. Fish were not showing themselves very much until a few days ago during the afternoons and evenings. Immature damsels, leeches in a number of colors, blobs, Prince Nymphs, water boatman, K-marts and scuds have been working along with spinners and worm under a float. Fish are very shallow and some are doing real well the last few days. The lake typically freezes over the 3rd week of November but will have morning freezing along it’s shoreline before then. The lake typically is safe for foot traffic to ice fish around the second week of December.
